Shina Southard, president of the Campus HIV Awareness Task Force, and Bridget Byrd, from the Alabama Department of Public Health, answered questions about HIV and AIDS at the "Created Equal" conference presented by the Gay-Straight Alliance last week. Other topics of discussion included religion, political activism and making the campus comfortable for everyone. The group said the conference was a success.
