I transferred to UNA after two years at Northeast Mississippi Community College. Last May, I walked with my 2007 graduating class, but stuck around for another year to help out the leaderless Flor-Ala. This is my last issue. Tuesday was the last day to put in the several-hours-a-week that I usually give to this paper.
In a recent article drug task force officer Chuck Hearn said that marijuana is kind of a gateway drug and he believed marijuana leads to other destructive substances. He said that many of the hard drug addicts he encounters, such as cocaine users, started smoking marijuana in their early teens.
