Hey guys, lesbians aren't interested in you

There is something I do not understand. What makes lesbianism a taboo practice, yet erotic to men at the same time? Many people in American culture do not support homosexuality. Yet, ask a man what type of porn he prefers, and I can almost guarantee that it involves at least two women.

I was surprised but not shocked to learn that several "important" positions in the SGA were filled by people elected without opposition. What does this illustrate about the attitude toward the SGA at UNA? I believe this illustrates that no one really cares about the SGA, and it really has no power.

A friend with weed is a need indeed; looking at medicinal marijuana

While cruising the Associated Press wire on Monday, I found an article that got my attention. A bill was introduced into the Alabama Legislature that would lead to the legalization of possessing small amounts of marijuana for medicinal purposes. I think this bill is great, but don't misunderstand me.

Schiavo case shows injustice in America's judicial system

Justice, is there really such thing? Our "justice" system here in America has stood by with a deaf ear, numb heart and unreasoning mind while a woman who had committed no crime was starved to death. Last week I mentioned this situation (i.e. starving Terri Schiavo to death) to a group of people; a 13-year-old girl responded "What did she do?" Exactly, what did Terri do? On March 23, Steven Staley won a reprieve just hours before his scheduled execution in Texas.
