4:48 p.m. A caller from Faculty Hall reported a motor vehicle accident without injuries. A Murray State vehicle hit a bicycle rack.

Western student dies after car accident

A Western student, Jesse Keeling, 23, of Louisville died after receiving fatal injuries from a car crash while driving northbound on I-65 today. According to a press release sent by the Kentucky State Police, a 1999 Dodge Durango was driving southbound on Interstate 65, when for an unknown reason, it crossed the median, striking Keeling's vehicle, a 2000 Jeep sports utility vehicle.

Students involved in accident near Western Place

Western students were involved in a collision at about 12:33 a.m. on May 3 on Patton Way near Nashville Road. Bowling Green freshman Billy Webb, a cheerleader, Tyler Madison, an incoming freshman cheerleader from Quality, Leonard Smith of Morgantown and Russellville freshman Garrett Roark, were involved in the collision, according to a police report.
